the selection of toys I make, I do sell a few toys that are made by other manufacturers. These I call my recommended toys, they have been very carefully chosen, I sell only the safest toys, some you will find have been changed slightly by me.
I do this this, if I feel the toy needs something more adding to it to make it more fun, or in some cases parts may need changing for safety reasons.
Tough stainless steel treat cages
Every bird should have a stainless steel treat cage, this toy certainly has the WOW!! Factor, and is one of my favourite toys.

The hunting for,and removing of all those interesting items you have put inside the cage, makes this toy a fantastic foraging toy, and is good for your parrot's natural foraging instincts.
My two Senegal’s have a couple of these, and they love them.
All parts including chain are stainless steel and the chain is welded closed, and each cage comes with a stainless steel quick link.
I have had a couple of customers with greys, and one with a macaw, that have reported back to me that their birds have managed to turn the cage round and round until it comes of its hanger.
looking at the toy, the ball at the top takes up to much room on the thread that the fixing fastens to.
so I saw down the ball on each toy, making it more secure, and hopefully stop any more birds undoing the toy.

Buy two Tight ropes, and make your own swing ladder

I have several of these about the house and in the flights, they really do make a great play area.
dowl used is 15mm, this pushes in the links tight, and does not move about.
I do not consider newspaper a safe item to give your bird. You are best useing news offcuts, this is newspaper without the ink.
chip shops use it, so if you ask your local chippy, they will sell you a pack. It comes in large 10kg packs, and will cost about £7.
Well worth the money, it will last you ages, and it is great to use for the bottom of the cage.
